Tara Capps is a memoirist based in Scottsdale, Arizona. She runs an advocacy platform named after her oldest son. Her work explores what it means to be misread by every system meant to recognize you, and what it costs to go that long without language for your own nervous system.

 

She writes from inside both roles at once — mother and late-diagnosed autistic woman.
